Facility Dog Ajax

The Delaware State Fire Commission is proud to announce the newest member to our agency, Ajax, a highly trained, facility dog.  Ajax was received through the nonprofit organization, Canine Companions. Facility Dog “Ajax” will assist the Fire and EMS service during their work with victims, and community members exposed to traumatic events.  Ajax will also assist the Delaware State Fire School with fire prevention activities.

Ajax, who was raised by Peggy and Tom Peeler for Canine Companions, was matched with Investigator Fioravaniti during a two-week training program located in Medford, NY.
