There is no greater form of recognition a First Responder can receive than a compliment from those they have assisted. A few words of thanks from a citizen, means a great deal. In cases where a letter of appreciation is submitted, the first responder and their chain of command are made aware of their outstanding performance.
All applicants and members of a Delaware Volunteer Fire Company who need to obtain a state and federal background check through the Delaware State Bureau of Identification (IdentoGo) must complete the Delaware State Fire Commission application form.
